Yesterday (31 July) I went to Swinburne to enroll the subjects I will be taking in the next coming semester.

When my friends and I arrived there, we were shocked that there too many students waiting for enrollment.  The lobby was crowded by students.  Students who want to go to the toilet experienced difficulties because the way were blocked by students who were queuing up, waiting for their turns to enroll.  Students were required to take number before they can enter the auditorium to enroll.  First, students will need to fill in the enrollment form.  Then queue up, then let the subject coordinator to sign the form, then pass the form to the enrolling officer.
I took me nearly 2 hours to complete the enrollment process.  The enrollment system really sucks!  I hope that there will be some improvement on the next year.
I suggest that there split the queue into 2 groups.  One for students who does not have question to ask the subject coordinators, and one for students who had questions to ask, so that students who had no questions to ask (me and my friends) get the enrollment form signed as soon as possible and pass the form to the enrollment officer.  This will speed up the process and avoid too many students queuing for a long time just to pass up the enrollment.
There is one thing which Swinburne is very efficient at doing it, that is printing the INVOICE and stating the students must pay their fees within a week.  If not, their name will be dropped and their will require to enroll one more time.
